Orderly Octopus

The goal of this project was to design a game cover for a fake game called Orderly Octopus. Any game box design was optional, it just needed to look like something that could’ve been found on shelves.

When it came to the project I was in charge of a handful of different aspects. The major parts were the company logo, the license icon, and all layout and text of the back of the box
My group drew a lot of the ideas from the design of Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) box designs. I wanted to make the box design feel as realistic as possible. This was done in regards with all of the placements of assets as well as the way that the text was written. I felt that the end product of my portion came out to be the best version that I could have created.
The overall final design was something that my three group members felt very accomplished with. All of the inconography and the layout achieved and exceeded the goal we set out to accomplish. This was one of my favorite projects that I was given the opporitunity to work on.
